Cristiano Ronaldo played again 56 after his last game with Real Madrid. The Portuguese player was very happy about making his comeback.
“I played today, so I’ll be ready to play against Barcelona too for sure. I feel fine. Of course I’d like to be a starter. I hope I am. We’ll see what happens.”
“We win practically every game. We are leaders in both La Liga and the Champions League. We are happy for that.”
“We will be able to defeat Barcelona if we play well. It will be a difficult match and we’ll have to be prepared for it. It’s hard to face them, but we have weapons of our own and we’ll try to perform well in order to win.”
“We want to win. I don’t care about the score as long as we do. The important thing is to take three points.”

Cristiano Ronaldo was delighted on Wednesday night at returning after nearly two months out through injury as Real Madrid moved to the top of Group C with a 1-0 win over FC Zurich.
The World Player of the Year, who joined Madrid for £80 million last summer, came on in place of Raúl in the 69th minute and had a number of attempts on goal.
“It’s good to be back,” Ronaldo said. “My motivation is high and I want to be as strong as I was before. The ankle responded well and I managed to push aside this mental worry.
“I’m coming back now from over one month off and it’s normal not to be 100 per cent. That’s OK, because with more games you find your rhythm and I want to play to help the team as soon as possible.
“It felt like normal but I know that I’m still not at the same pace as my team-mates.”
Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuaín scored the crucial goal at the Bernabéu. Higuaín was played through by Kaka after 21 minutes and beat goalkeeper Johnny Leoni with a low shot. Despite their dominance Real struggled to add to their lead.
Ronaldo is Madrid’s leading scorer in Europe this season with four goals. The world’s most expensive player is now ready for ‘El Clasico’ against Barcelona on Sunday. Real lead the Spanish table by one point from champions Barcelona going into the duel at the Nou Camp.
Real moved on to 10 points to replace AC Milan at the summit after the Italian side were held to 1-1 by Marseille at the San Siro.
Milan remain a point above Didier Deschamps’s team in Group C and a win in Zurich next month would put them through, leaving Marseille to battle Madrid in southern France for the other qualification spot.
Milan, who won 2-1 in Marseille in the opening group match, went ahead on 10 minutes when striker Marco Borriello ambled past Marseille centre-back Gabriel Heinze in the box and calmly finished. The lead did not last long however, with Milan’s defence looking as shaky as Marseille’s backline. Argentine midfielder Lucho González slotted home in the 16th minute and the visitors hit the woodwork twice in the second half.
Real triumphed 3-0 at home to Marseille in their second group match, when Ronaldo scored twice, and need just a point from their final game to secure qualification. [Source: telegraph.co.uk]

I’ve added training photos from the last 2 days. Today Cris will play against Zurich in Switzerland. He should play a few minutes but I think after his long injury it’s good to see him play a few minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo makes his eagerly awaited comeback to Real Madrid’s squad tonight as they battle to avoid an embarrassing early exit from the Champions League — and save their manager’s job.
Real’s £80million summer signing from Manchester United is poised to feature at home to FC Zurich after recovering from the ankle injury he suffered against Marseille. The Portugal star has missed Madrid’s past 10 games.
Under-pressure Real manager Manuel Pellegrini admitted: ‘It’s impossible not to miss a player of his level, considered the best in the world. But we can’t just rely on one player.’
